February 2010 - Normality returns to Animation Supplies
January was an extraordinary month with most of the UK spending much of it covered in snow. We had never seen snow like it before. We had so much at Animation Supplies that we were able to build ourselves a new HQ, which can be viewed here.
The weather has now returned to the normal “good old British rain” and any orders that were held up have now been dispatched. Thanks for bearing with us!
We are continuing to look at new products and are pleased to announce that we are now able to offer Animation Rostrums. We currently have 3 different models and more will be added soon.

Snow causes delivery delays
Heavy snow has meant that Animation Supplies HQ has been cut off from the outside world. We haven't had any deliveries or collections since Tuesday 5th January. Orders have therefore been delayed. With the forecasters predicting further snow over the weekend we don't yet know when normal service will be resumed. Please bear with us and check the site for further updates next week.

As we bid farewell to the naughties, Animation Supplies has already started putting into action our plans for the new decade. We hope that 2010 will prove to be a big year for us and for all our customers. We have several very exciting announcements to make in the coming months which we hope will be as exciting for you as it will be for us. Be sure to sign up to our mailing list to be kept up to date.
During the festive period we were operating with a skeleton staff as our team enjoyed a well earned break. Normal service has now resumed however and all outstanding orders have now been sent out.
We would like to wish all our customers a very happy New Year.
December 2009 - Christmas deliveries
It's not too late to order that last minute Animation Supplies Christmas present. We will be sending out orders right up to Christmas and until 10am 23rd December we can still guarantee UK delivery in time for the big day*. Orders over £100 automatically qualify for this service, but if your order is for less, please ensure you choose the express delivery option to make sure your order gets to you in time. For some international orders it's still not too late for Christmas delivery, but do please contact us first to avoid disappointment.
The latest edition of our popular newsletter has just been sent out, if you haven't received your copy yet or you aren't on our mailing list, it can be viewed here. It features several exclusive clips of our Rigging System in action, the latest must see You Tube video, and some exciting stop motion animation software news. Make sure you don't miss out on our next edition by signing up to our mailing list.

November 2009 - Stop Motion Pro Version 7 Now Available
We have just received our first batch of SMP V7 and it can now be purchased from our shop. Our initial supply is limited, so order quickly to avoid disappointment. All customers that previously ordered V6.5 and qualified for an upgrade will receive their boxed copy in the next few days.
We are also pleased to announce the introduction of Zu3D, a new stop motion capture software programme aimed at the younger animator. Zu3D is an excellent all in one package enabling animators to capture and edit their films. It also enables the addition of sound and titles. Its easy to use interface has been well thought out and is ideal for children starting out in animation.
Finally we have also added several new colours to our range of Lewis Newplast Plasticine. We now have a wide variety of colours to choose from.
October 2009 - Orders won't be dispatched until Monday 9th November
Animation Supplies HQ will be closed for one week from Thursday 29th October and as a result any orders placed during this time won't be dispatched until Monday 9th November. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
On a brighter note, our recent newsletter was very well received and has left our subscribers hungry for more! For those who haven't yet seen our latest publication it can be read on the newsletter page. A new installment will be ready soon so make sure you don't miss out by signing up to our mailing list.
August 2009 - Stop Motion Pro put the ProPlus to the test
Recently we sent a ProPlus armature to the team at Stop Motion Pro to be put through its paces. They thoroughly tested it and published a full review on their site. Paul, from SMP described the ProPlus as "a pleasure to work with and amazingly priced". He aslo said that "it wass like having a custom built armature at a fraction of the price". Comments that we were naturally delighted with.

It features several of our armatures and gives a good indication of what they are capable of. If you would like to see your films on our site, then feel free to contact us.
Finally, if you haven't already heard, a brand new stop motion online magazine is launching very soon. The magazine will be released every second month and will be packed full of features. It's completely free, so be sure to signup to receive your copy.
May 2009 - New site has been very well received
The new site has been online for just over a month now, during which time we have received numerous messages congratulating us. We have responded individually to all those who have taken the time to get in touch, but we would also like to publically thank them to their support.
Several people have kindly taken the time to review our products for which we are very grateful. We are continually looking for new reviews however and your input is always welcome. We are particularly keen to get reviews for our latest products, the ProPlus armature and our Rigging System.
At Animation Supplies HQ, we are constantly working on the site. We will be adding several new pages soon, so be sure to check the site frequently. We have also been fixing any problems that we have encountered. We do sometime miss things however so if you spot any part of the site that isn't working then please let us know.
Finally we will be launching our brand new newsletter very soon so be sure to sign up to our mailing list. It will feature lots of exciting stuff, including tutorials and the latest stop motion news.
April 2009 - New site is finally launched
At Animation Supplies HQ we are celebrating the launch of our new look website. We hope you like the design and we welcome any comments and feedback you have.
In addition to the new look we have also introduced three exciting new armatures. These are our entry level Aluminium Armature, the updated Professional Armature and our top spec ProPlus Armature. We have also added several new products including the excellent Stop Motion Pro software which we promise to sell for the best possible price. Other new items have been added and we will continue to add further products over the coming weeks and months.
We have also included a new rating system for our products enabling customers to share their views. Reviews are easily submitted and we a very grateful to anyone who takes the time to complete one.
Now that we've told you about all the new design and features - we'll get back to celebrating!
