Exciting new products launched
Animation Supplies™ is pleased to announce several new exciting products. After a long time in development we are pleased to launch our brand new four legged ProPlus Quadruped™ Armature. This new armatures uses the same high quality joints found in our ProPlus armature but offers the flexibility of being able to be turned into a four legged character. Be it a dog, an elephant or a mouse the new ProPlus Quadruped™ is just what you need.
In addition to the new armature we also now stock Milliput, Newclay Modelling Clay, as well as several new colours of Newplast and Uro. Look out in the coming months for further additions to our range.

MIFA 2011
Following a very successful MIFA exhibition, Animation Supplies is now planning several exciting new projects, which we will announce in the coming months. MIFA was very well attended and we were pleased to meet so many of our customers. It was great to see what our products are being used to create.

Annecy ordering information
Animation Supplies will be attending this year’s Annecy International Animation Film Festival which runs from 6th – 11th June 2011. We will be in Annecy from 2rd June and during this time our regular order processing will be disrupted and will not return to normal until Monday 13th June. We apologise for any inconvenience this might cause.
If you are going to Annecy please do drop by and see us on the UK stand (4.B05) at the International Animation Film Market (Mifa), we’ll be there from 7th – 10th June. We will have a selection of our most popular products on display as well as some fantastic deals on offer. We look forward to seeing you there!

Price Changes
As a result of the recent VAT increase some of our prices have had to increase slightly. Wherever possible however, we have kept this to a minimum and in some cases we have actually managed to reduce the price of several products.
As part of the price changes we have altered some of the postal services that we offer. This has enabled us to maintain the current UK charges. Please refer to the delivery page for full details.

With VAT now at 20%, you will be please to hear that we will be holding our current prices until Monday 10th January. After then some of our prices will have to go up but wherever possible we will look to keep this is a minimum.

Christmas Deliveries and Special Offers

We are pleased to announce that we now stock Newclay Uro Hot Set Modelling clay. From the makers of Newplast, this is an excellent product which will no doubt enhance your animated productions but can also be used for so many other art and craft projects.
Normal Service Resumes
The Heavy snow that covered Animation Supplies HQ last week has now melted and orders are starting to go out again. There is a bit of a backlog but we are working our way through it.

Snow - Orders Delayed
Heavy snow has covered large parts of the UK, including Animation Supplies HQ. As a result no orders have been able to go out since the 30th November. We are doing all that we can but currently couriers are unable to get to us.

Canterbury Anifest & Animation Rostrums
Animation Supplies recently exhibited at Anifest in Canterbury and we would like to congratulate the organisers on another excellent festival. This year the venue was changed to Augustine House and the programme included a fascinating talk from an Aardman modelmaker, a screening of The Gruffalo and a entertaining evening with Phill Jupitus and his favourite cartoons. All in all a great day out.
We are expecting to take delivery of further Rostrums later this month. They have proved very popular and we don't expect our latest delivery to last long so if you are looking to order one make sure that you hurry! |

Animation Supplies will be exhibiting at the ICT educational exhibition in Brighton during September. If you are planning to come, be sure to visit us on our stand.

Annecy 2010 and orders
We set off for Annecy this weekend, where we can be seen at Mifa on stand 2.03 from Wednesday 9th June. If you’re going to the festival, it’s worth knowing that all Annecy Festival passes include access to the New Technologies area of Mifa, which is where we will be.
Orders will be disrupted next week whilst we are at the festival, but will return to normal on Monday 14th June. Any orders placed whilst we are away will be processed as quickly as possible when we get back. |

Animation Supplies at Annecy Animation Festival!
Exciting news! We are pleased to announce that we will be showing off our Armatures on the Stop Motion Pro stand at this year's Annecy festival. The festival is from 7th - 12th June. This will be our first time at Annecy and we're very much looking forward to meeting some of our customers there. Full details of the event can be found on the festival's website.
We are currently at advanced stage of discussions with several well known animation companies about stocking their products. We hope to be able to make an announcement in our next newsletter which is due to come out early next month. Be sure to sign up to our mailing list to be kept up to date. |

February 2010 - Normality returns to Animation Supplies
January was an extraordinary month with most of the UK spending much of it covered in snow. We had never seen snow like it before. We had so much at Animation Supplies that we were able to build ourselves a new HQ, which can be viewed here.
The weather has now returned to the normal “good old British rain” and any orders that were held up have now been dispatched. Thanks for bearing with us!
We are continuing to look at new products and are pleased to announce that we are now able to offer Animation Rostrums. We currently have 3 different models and more will be added soon.

Snow causes delivery delays
Heavy snow has meant that Animation Supplies HQ has been cut off from the outside world. We haven't had any deliveries or collections since Tuesday 5th January. Orders have therefore been delayed. With the forecasters predicting further snow over the weekend we don't yet know when normal service will be resumed. Please bear with us and check the site for further updates next week.

As we bid farewell to the naughties, Animation Supplies has already started putting into action our plans for the new decade. We hope that 2010 will prove to be a big year for us and for all our customers. We have several very exciting announcements to make in the coming months which we hope will be as exciting for you as it will be for us. Be sure to sign up to our mailing list to be kept up to date.
During the festive period we were operating with a skeleton staff as our team enjoyed a well earned break. Normal service has now resumed however and all outstanding orders have now been sent out.

December 2009 - Christmas deliveries
It's not too late to order that last minute Animation Supplies Christmas present. We will be sending out orders right up to Christmas and until 10am 23rd December we can still guarantee UK delivery in time for the big day*. Orders over £100 automatically qualify for this service, but if your order is for less, please ensure you choose the express delivery option to make sure your order gets to you in time. For some international orders it's still not too late for Christmas delivery, but do please contact us first to avoid disappointment.
The latest edition of our popular newsletter has just been sent out, if you haven't received your copy yet or you aren't on our mailing list, it can be viewed here. It features several exclusive clips of our Rigging System in action, the latest must see You Tube video, and some exciting stop motion animation software news. November 2009 - Stop Motion Pro Version 7 Now Available
We have just received our first batch of SMP V7 and it can now be purchased from our shop. Our initial supply is limited, so order quickly to avoid disappointment. All customers that previously ordered V6.5 and qualified for an upgrade will receive their boxed copy in the next few days.
We are also pleased to announce the introduction of Zu3D, a new stop motion capture software programme aimed at the younger animator. Zu3D is an excellent all in one package enabling animators to capture and edit their films. It also enables the addition of sound and titles. Its easy to use interface has been well thought out and is ideal for children starting out in animation.
Finally we have also added several new colours to our range of Lewis Newplast Plasticine. We now have a wide variety of colours to choose from. |

October 2009 - Orders won't be dispatched until Monday 9th November

August 2009 - Stop Motion Pro put the ProPlus to the test
Recently we sent a ProPlus armature to the team at Stop Motion Pro to be put through its paces. They thoroughly tested it and published a full review on their site. Paul, from SMP described the ProPlus as "a pleasure to work with and amazingly priced". He aslo said that "it wass like having a custom built armature at a fraction of the price". Comments that we were naturally delighted with.
If you would like to see our Professional armatures in action, then be sure to check out Tristian Pritchard's showreel which we have just added to the site. It features several of our armatures and gives a good indication of what they are capable of. If you would like to see your films on our site, then feel free to contact us.
Finally, if you haven't already heard, a brand new stop motion online magazine is launching very soon. The magazine will be released every second month and will be packed full of features. It's completely free, so be sure to signup to receive your copy. |

May 2009 - New site has been very well received
The new site has been online for just over a month now, during which time we have received numerous messages congratulating us. We have responded individually to all those who have taken the time to get in touch, but we would also like to publically thank them to their support.
Several people have kindly taken the time to review our products for which we are very grateful. We are continually looking for new reviews however and your input is always welcome. We are particularly keen to get reviews for our latest products, the ProPlus armature and our Rigging System.
At Animation Supplies HQ, we are constantly working on the site. We will be adding several new pages soon, so be sure to check the site frequently. We have also been fixing any problems that we have encountered. We do sometime miss things however so if you spot any part of the site that isn't working then please let us know.
Finally we will be launching our brand new newsletter very soon so be sure to sign up to our mailing list. It will feature lots of exciting stuff, including tutorials and the latest stop motion news. |

April 2009 - New site is finally launched
At Animation Supplies HQ we are celebrating the launch of our new look website. We hope you like the design and we welcome any comments and feedback you have.
In addition to the new look we have also introduced three exciting new armatures. These are our entry level Aluminium Armature, the updated Professional Armature and our top spec ProPlus Armature. We have also added several new products including the excellent Stop Motion Pro software which we promise to sell for the best possible price. Other new items have been added and we will continue to add further products over the coming weeks and months.
We have also included a new rating system for our products enabling customers to share their views. Reviews are easily submitted and we a very grateful to anyone who takes the time to complete one.
