The Space Trooper - Tristan Pritchard
Tristan used a Professional Armature to create his Space Trooper character. He altered our suggested design slightly so that the arms were a little longer. He cast the hands in latex over the wire hands provided in our kit. He then used upholstery foam for his body and built up muscles in latex and cotton wool. The Trooper's costume is made of ladies stockings painted with ink to avoid cracking and ease of movement. His head is Plasticine with plastic beads for eyes. His helmet is a strange piece of pot pourri cut into shape with bits of model kit parts and Lego stuck on. The gun is made from CD player parts painted to look like metal. The holster is kitchen roll dipped in liquid latex, cut to shape and assembled around the gun to get the right size.
