STORYLINE/SCREENPLAY
An animated production, as with most films, will start with
a simple idea. It might be a word, a sentence or an image

simple idea will need to be developed into a more complex
story. There are several good books available on this subject.

| This is an excellent book,
written by Syd Field. If you are a budding scriptwriter,
then this is a must read for you |
This book highlights the importance
of characterisation. It features several ways in which
to create believable characters |
This book was recommended to

Note in particular, the way that it has been set out. Setting
out your screenplay in a similar fashion, will prove beneficial
if you intend to use actors to record narration/voices.
